This product contains a non-acidic form of Vitamin C (Calcium Ascorbate) and is fortified with a combination of natural Bioflavonoids for maximum effectiveness. Calcium Ascorbate is a buffered or non-acidic form of Vitamin C and does not cause stomach upset or acidity as other forms of Vitamin C can. It is therefore suitable for people who suffer from hyperacidity and stomach ulcers or for those who wish to supplement larger doses of Vitamin C.
Bioflavonoids are colourful antioxidants found occurring naturally in plant pigments. Hesperidin and Rutin are two of the common Bioflavonoids.

Vitamin C plays an important role in maintaining a healthy immune system, blood vessels and gums. It is also required for proper Iron absorption, to promote healthy tissue repair, wound healing and building the connective tissue collagen (an integral part of skin, ligaments, tendons, bones, teeth etc.) Vitamin C is also a powerful antioxidant and neutralises free radicals, exerting a protective effect on the body.
