Panax Ginseng, known as Ren Shen in Chinese, is
found growing on mountain slopes in Korea, China and Russia. Panax
is derived from the Greek word for Panacea which means 'cure all'.
It is the most famous Chinese herb and is believed to have been
used for more than 7000 years for its remarkable therapeutic benefits.
According to the Chinese sages, Ginseng replenished the vital
energy and promoted health and longevity. Ginseng is widely recognised
in the Western World and has been extensively researched for 20
to 30 years for its adaptogenic properties.
