	Echiomega contains echium seed oil which provides the omega-3 fatty acid stearidonic acid (SDA). This is naturally converted to the important long-chain omega-3 fatty acid EPA in the body. The SDA in echium seed oil provides up to five times more EPA than other botanical omega-3 oils.

Echium seed oil also contains other beneficial fatty acids including the potent anti-inflammatory omega-6 gamma linolenic acid (GLA) and the omega-9 oleic acid.
